There are a few things to consider when canceling your Orangetheory membership. For one, is there a wait list? Will there be a fee if you cancel Orangetheory fitness after a certain date? And, finally, can I cancel without incurring a $12 late cancellation fee?
Can I cancel an Orangetheory Fitness membership?
You have two options for canceling your membership at Orangetheory: through mail or in person. If you cancel via mail, you can explain the reasons for your cancellation and send the cancellation form along with it. Once you’ve sent the form, you’ll be contacted by a customer service executive who will help you with the rest of the cancellation process. You must also cancel at least 30 days before your next billing period to avoid getting charged for classes that you haven’t attended.
Once you’ve canceled your membership, the charge will be taken out of your bank account. If you cancel after the 30th, however, you can attend any classes that are left on your account. However, you won’t be entitled to a refund unless you’ve attended at least twelve classes at your local Orangetheory. You can also transfer your membership to another Orangetheory studio if you don’t want to continue your membership. However, you’ll need to provide an official letter from a physician before you’re allowed to do this.
If you subscribe to the Orangetheory app on your smartphone, you’ll need to go to the Apple App Store and open the “View Information” menu. After signing in, go to the “Subscriptions” section and click on “Cancel Subscription.” Once you’ve confirmed this, your subscription will be canceled. Alternatively, you can go to your Apple account and click on “Settings” in the App Store. After clicking on “Manage” in the “Subscription” section, you’ll have to click on “Edit” next to “Orangetheory Fitness” and then “Cancel Subscription.”
Is there a wait list for classes?
Orangetheory offers a variety of classes. Members have the option to sign up for multiple classes each month or purchase a class pack. Class packs begin at four classes a month and go up to ten classes a month. This option allows new members to invest in several classes without worrying about a waitlist. It also allows for flexible payment options so that members can cancel at any time. Orangetheory’s membership funnel begins by activating new members, but the next step is to get them to show up for class.
Depending on the studio, waitlists are typically between 10 and 30 people long. Members are notified when a class becomes available, but members can also sign up on their own if the class is full. Those on the waitlist do not pay a fee if they don’t attend the class. However, if a class fills up before the waitlist members can sign up, they will be charged a late cancellation fee.
When you attend Orange Theory, you will be working out with an instructor who is knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. The trainers will give you tips and modifications to make the workouts easier for you to do. If you aren’t able to perform 20 squats at a full pace, you can do five instead. It’s a friendly environment, and there’s no one judging you. Everyone is doing their best.
Is there a $12 charge for late cancellations of Orangetheory?
Orangetheory enforces a late-cancellation fee for members who fail to cancel a reservation within eight hours of the start of the class. The fee is usually more than half of the cost of the class, or $12. The fee is intended to help Orangetheory recover from the cancellations by allowing other members to fill the spot.
It is important to realize that a cancellation policy is not a guarantee. While it is not impossible to cancel a yoga class, the policy may not be as flexible as you think. Some studios will allow cancellations via email. However, this practice limits your flexibility and may even cost you your membership.
In addition to the late cancellation policy, many Orangetheory members complain that their preferred time slots aren’t available. They also complain that they don’t get a refund if they miss a class. Since members are expected to sign up well in advance, they should try to cancel as soon as possible. If they can’t cancel, they should at least try to remove their names from the waitlist.
Is there a robot lawyer?
Cancelling an Orangetheory membership can be a nerve-racking experience, but there are options. The company offers a service that is called DoNotPay. It has evolved since its launch in 2015 during the coronavirus pandemic. Billed as the “world’s first robot lawyer,” DoNotPay can help customers check their refund status, cancel subscriptions, and make other arrangements for payment.
